Angela McCabe is Head of Stakeholder & Community Engagement and a senior leader within Corporate Affairs, with over 20 years’ experience in strategic communications, public affairs and stakeholder management.

She holds an MBA and currently leads statutory stakeholder engagement for Anglian Water’s £11bn investment programme, including oversight of a £5bn capital portfolio of nationally significant infrastructure projects (NSIPs) and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) schemes.

This includes major infrastructure such as desalination plants and one of Europe’s largest environmental project (350km pipeline spanning Lincolnshire to Essex), requiring complex engagement with government, regulators, local authorities and communities.

Angela specialises in building trusted relationships in highly scrutinised environments, helping organisations navigate reputational risk and secure support for complex infrastructure delivery. She provides strategic counsel to executive and board-level leaders and is passionate about embedding community insight into decision-making to build trust and enable long-term, sustainable outcomes.
