Alex Kinnear-Mellor is a senior communications and engagement leader with over 25 years’ experience across the FMCG, hospitality, charity, engineering and renewable energy sectors.

At Elements Green, she leads corporate affairs, stakeholder engagement and delivery strategy across major clean energy and biodiversity projects, including the Great North Road Solar and Biodiversity Park (GNR). She has built communications programmes for public consultations, co-created an award-winning consultation programme, and works with communities, government, regulators, local authorities and delivery partners on complex infrastructure proposals.

Alex also oversees marketing and PR for Elements Green’s global business, shaping corporate positioning, project narratives and reputation across multiple markets. She specialises in translating complex and often highly scrutinised subjects into clear, credible and human communications. Her approach combines strategic judgement, creativity and empathy, with a strong focus on plain English, myth busting and bringing community insight into decision-making.
