Roisin Giles is a senior associate in the Planning & Environment team at Pinsent Masons with a focus on supporting developers of major infrastructure and energy projects through the consenting process. She has experience in planning and environmental law and policy across the UK, in Canada and in New Zealand in both private practice and within government. In the UK she has advised clients on statutory and non-statutory consultation and engagement for nationally significant projects under the Planning Act 2008 prior to the Planning and Infrastructure Act 2025 reforms, and on the implications of the recent regime changes for applicants at various stages of the pre-application process.
