Nikki is the Communications and Engagement Manager for Five Estuaries Offshore Wind Farm, a 1,080 MW project located off the south Suffolk, north Essex coast, with a 22km onshore cable route and substation located in Tendring, Essex. Nikki has worked with the project for over 3 years through pre-application consultation to the project receiving development consent at the end of 2025 with a focus on ensuring that communities are informed and engaged as the project develops. Post consent, the focus is now on the benefits to project will bring; skills and employment, local supply chain engagement and community funds. 

Nikki has over 15 years’ experience in communications, specialising in community engagement and consultation. This has supported development planning applications across property, energy and infrastructure, in TCPA and DCO applications. This has included some of the largest NSIP energy developments in the UK, including EDF Energy’s Sizewell C nuclear power station, National Grid’s Norwich to Tilbury overhead transmission line and ScottishPower Renewables (SPR) East Anglia offshore windfarms.
